The Summer Olympics are beginning soon & we’re going to make them an AMAZING event for your family!
Besides cheering on your favorite country, we thought it would be fun to create a friendly Learn & Play Summer Olympic Challenge for the kids too.
We’ve teamed up with an outstanding group of kid-friendly bloggers from around the world to bring you a whole month of Olympic-related crafts, activities, sensory play and fun ways to learn!
Olympic Activities for Kids
Throughout June & July, we’ll have new activities each day that will inspire kids to learn about both the Olympic Games and Brazil, the host country for this year’s Summer Olympics.
Each week will include a Learn & Play theme with ideas for crafts, learning activities, sensory play and more!
You can see a list of all the activities below & to keep things interesting, we’ve created a special Olympic-themed challenge for your kids! As they complete each of the activities on the list, they can work their way to winning “The Gold”!
Print off the FREE Summer Olympic Challenge for Kids which includes an activity grid and printable medals!
Award them a Bronze medal after 7 completed activities, a Silver for 10 activities and a Gold if they are able to do all 15.
We have so many fun ideas for them to choose from so browse the list to find the ones that your kids will enjoy the most.
In addition to the grid, I would recommend having a Kid-friendly World Map or Kids Globe (affiliate links for both items in case your looking for one for your home). The Olympic Games are the perfect opportunity to introduce geography activities to kids in a fun & hands-on way.
