I really love this time of the year because there are so many natural items that can be used in craft projects and decorating.
Last week’s Discover & Explore linky highlighted fun ways to create with natural items and I was blown away with the creativity of some of the projects — and yet, they are still so kid-friendly.
One of the fun parts of doing nature crafts is scouting out all the materials! It’a great opportunity to get the kids outside to learn more about the various trees, leaves, pods and seeds. Gather up all the fun items you find in your yard (young kids might even like to pretend they are squirrels getting ready for winter) and then try a few of these beautiful projects.
