Learning letters and numbers is a long process for kids and one that requires us to introduce a variety of activities to keep them engaged.

 

 

Creative Ways to Build Your ABCs

Kids love to learn with hands-on activities and there are so many fun ways to construct letters so kids can practice their ABCs.  Try one of these creative and unique ways to help kids learn more about the alphabet.

 

Create Pop-up ABC Books from Life with Moore Babies – kids can tailor these books with their favorite items!

 

Rubber Boots and Elf Shoes shows us you can find lots of natural materials to use when constructing letters.  It’s great to give kids the opportunity to connect with nature while learning.

 

I love this fun idea from Play*Learn*Love of using Legos to build items for each letter of the alphabet!  Make sure to visit and see what animals they are building for each of the ABCs.

 

Head outside and build BIG letters with window trim from And Next Comes L – everything’s more fun when it’s big!

 

And Fun-a-Day mixed literacy and science with these cool fizzy letters that can be stacked and then used for an experiment!
