I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Sprint. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and to thank me for participating.
So who wants to win a smartphone today?!
I see your hand in the air 🙂 But first I want to tell you about my family’s visit last week.
My parents came to visit us this past week which was so wonderful because I haven’t seen them in more than a year!
While they were here, my Dad was telling us about this funny commercial he saw with a hamster that kept saying “That’s not a word!” and he’d laugh. I love to hear my father laugh but I didn’t recall seeing the commercial.
Then one night we were watching one of the ‘go survive in the wilderness‘ shows we watch, and the commercial came on — it’s the one for Sprint’s new Framily plan!
So of course, my Dad starts laughing at the hamster 🙂 and I was laughing because I had just learned that week that I was going to be one of the bloggers in the Sprint Ambassador Program!
Here’s the hamster video — hope it makes you smile 🙂
Learn about the Newest Devices
As a Sprint Ambassador, I will be sharing our experiences as we test a variety of Sprint devices and service options during the upcoming months. My kids are just thrilled to pieces about the idea because they know that I can’t figure out any new technology without their help 😉
Both kids (a tween and a teen) will be involved in the process so we can provide you with some great details about what we love, what isn’t working for us and answer some of the questions you might have before you head out to buy any new device.
What will we be testing?
It’s a surprise — even to us!
Sprint’s Framily Plan
The first item we’ll share today is Sprint’s newest service option — the Framily Plan.
You and up to 10 friends, family members, and even coworkers can be a part of a Framily group with unlimited talk, text and 1GB of data each, while on the Sprint network.
Each of the members on the Framily plan receives a separate bill with no annual service contracts or early termination fees, all for as little as $25 a month per line when you have 7 – 10 members in the Framily group. And if you like unlimited data, you can also add that to each line too.
Of course my Dad wants to be part of our ‘Framily’ (although he told me they could send his bill to me 🙂
We currently have four in our family — so we could easily add both sets of grandparents plus a few others to the plan.
And since the kids are the only ones that text the grandparents, it’s probably only fair that we put them on the plan to save them some money (as long as they don’t share too many embarassing stories about Mom and Dad growing up!)
In fact, the more members you have in your framily, the more you’ll save. And with lines as low as $25/month — that’s such a HUGE savings from what we’re paying now (like three times that amount)!
If you’re new to Sprint, you can take advantage of this additional offer — new customers who bring their number to Sprint and sign up for a Sprint Framily Plan can receive up to $300 in credit for their current phone and a Visa® Prepaid Card worth up to $350 to cover switching fees. This offer is available exclusively at Sprint stores and online at Sprint.com through May 8.
You can learn more about the Sprint Framily Plan and start to make a list of who you would include in your group. With the opportunity to save on their cell bills, you’ll have all kinds of friends lining up to be in your group 🙂
