Spending Time with Kids
Next week, we will feature some fun activities, crafts and cool ideas for the monthly Online Kids Book Club.
If you missed last month’s feature, you can read more about the Family Conversation Jar and October’s author, Amy Krouse Rosenthal.
I love the month of November!
I know that most kids think it’s just the time between Halloween and the beginning of the holiday seasons, but for me it’s a great time to be thankful for a number of things.
I hope as my kids get older, they too begin to appreciate some of the following:
I love Autumn! It’s my favorite season – cool days, beautiful colors, fun things to do with the kids and a great time to enjoy nature!
I’m thrilled to be involved with a great project this week – Kiwi Crate’s Summer of Giving!
From July 16th – 22nd, I’ve teamed up with a dozen amazing Kid Bloggers to share this opportunitiy – for each new subscription ordered this week, Kiwi will donate one crate full of arts, crafts, and science activities to St. Jude’s Research Hosptial for each crate that is purchased.
Our goal is to donate 100 crates to the kids at St. Jude’s this week!
Below is a review of a Kiwi Crate along with details on how you can learn more about donations during the Summer of Giving.
Not familiar with Kiwi Crate? Let me show you a little about what we found in our crate.
Do your kids love space? Are they asking questions about the moon, stars and other celestial wonders? In celebration of Space Day (which is the first Friday in May), we put together a list of books and activities for an educational and enjoyable evening under the stars!
Heading to the beach this summer? Or maybe you’re planning a camp-out? We’ve got some great reads for you to take along – explore a picture book, bring a chapter book to read aloud or grab a guide book for ideas on games and activities!
